SELF-LOVE

You cannot live as your authentic self if you are not whole, because the parts of you that are rejected, ejected, and projected get distorted. All aspects of your wholeness need to be embraced and included as facets of your authentic self. Nothing can be left out. Self-love is essential to the process of healing into wholeness and reclaiming your authentic self.

While self-love includes acts of self-care and self-nurturance, like getting a massage or taking time to meditate, it is much deeper and all pervading. Self-love is a moment-by-moment, breath-by-breath, way of being.

Moment-by-moment… How are you feeling?

What do you need?

What do you want?

How can you respond in the most loving way to your needs and wants?

What do you need to express and who do you need to express it to?

How are you talking to yourself? Are those inner voices disparaging or encouraging, critical or compassionate?

What are you trying to hide from yourself? What are you hiding from others?

What is the most loving thing you can do for yourself, right now?
